Meet the Owner
“Hi, I’m Trystan, the owner of TGB Developments. I’ve been in the building trade since I was 19 years old. In fact I grew up around construction and did my school work-experience on a building site.
Born and raised in Penzance, I attended Camborne college where I earned an NVQ in trowel occupations, before moving on to plant operations. Being on sizeable projects from start to finish from a young age, I’ve acquired a range of skills and have worked alongside many very talented tradesmen.
My own main skills are ground-works, roofing and trowel trades but my team covers everything from small jobs and maintenance to large scale end-to-end construction. We have a gifted carpenter who can make bespoke seating, cupboards, kitchens and bathrooms. The whole team is experienced in the challenges that old Cornish properties tend to throw up and we really enjoy breaking the ground to get a new build underway.
I always work to deliver my projects on time and on budget, building good relationships along the way to ensure a smooth and cost-effective project from start to finish.
In my free time I started and still run West Penwith Judo Club - now seven years old. Over 150 youngsters from Penwith have trained with me. Training has given them confidence and the desire to overcome challenges and to succeed. My adult classes are very well attended too!
