Block cavity, stone face build.

This was an extremely technical and high spec project, consisting of 5 different wall plate heights, and 3 finished floor levels. To ensure that ‘the new’ matched the old, all M&E had to be completely hidden (without boxing in), this included a free-standing bath tap, underfloor heating and high-quality floor coverings. This was a job we’re all incredibly proud of!

It’s common in a lot of projects to only be given a very basic set of drawings. This project, however, was quite the opposite. Brian, the client’s father, was a top draughtsman. He drew every room in detail and from multiple angles, covering things like our sub-structure for the different floors to ensure they all came together at one level. Everything came with drawings and descriptions, even when it came to adapting door latches to give the desired result! He was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout and with his vision we delivered what I would describe as our flagship project to date.

“Over the last few years I have been engaged in a number of development projects on large and small scale and the recent development that I undertook was on a barn extension in the Southwest. Trystan and his team supported me on this project and helped me realise the vision that I had for this project. Trystan‘s modest, personal and professional set up gave me the confidence at the planning stage that I would receive one to one collaboration throughout the project. His team of craftsmen were not only very skilled but just as importantly, considerate and friendly. His team were particularly attuned throughout to the detailed needs of the project. And with the usual changes that come with construction and development they enabled the vision to become a reality, which was handled with patience and thoughtfulness. I would certainly collaborate with Trystan and his team in future on new ventures and would highly recommend.”
