Halsetown.
A timber frame construction, faced in stone on the roadside and cedar cladding on the other side, which was required by the planning consent. The cedar has now silvered back, making the property blend in beautifully with its neighbours.
I was originally on this project to do the ground-works only. However, the timber frame company were so impressed with our precision that they recommended us to the client to complete the job. As a result, we were asked to see the build through from start to finish.
It’s a beautiful build and one the team are very proud of. I’ve been back to the property on a few occasions since, adding a mini replica of a tin mine to the garden, converting the garage into a ‘man cave’ and installing a Velux window.
Melvin & Amanda have been amazing throughout all the works. On a side note, I’ve never met anyone as good as Amanda at ‘Popmaster’ - big respect!
